The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology that is attracting interest because of its broad spectrum of applications, and the potential for radical change through its implementation in the insurance industry must be explored. Or, if this disruption were to occur, the role of the insurer would change permanently. It is therefore necessary to assess its scope.
