Since 2019, Ecole Supérieure d’Assurance and Coventry University (UK) have entered an academic partnership to deliver a double diploma: “Manager de l’Assurance” & “Master of Science in International Insurance Management”.
As part of their 2nd year academic programme, students are expected to write a 12,000 words dissertation. The dissertation builds on the research proposal developed in the “Business and Management Research” module and provides them an opportunity to develop their specific interest in a subject area. It also allows students to demonstrate an ability to undertake independent research. As ESA students are already placed in insurance organizations, they benefit form a unique opportunity to research and offer recommendations to real business problems, often taken from their work environment. The academic year 2021-22 was no exception with research topics ranging from health and protection to motor insurance, through international insurance programs or the use of genetic testing.
